About the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo
For those looking to add a bit more practicality to the excitement of the Porsche Taycan, the Taycan Cross Turismo is the perfect solution. The Cross Turismo offers you the same powerful all-electric drivetrain as the standard Taycan, but with a convenient liftgate and lower body cladding for light off-road use. A wide range of charging options are available, and the 800-volt architecture allows for 400 kWh DC fast charging, making it one of the fastest-charging electric vehicles in the world. And it will do up to 300 miles between charges as well.
Inside you’ll find a luxurious interior with optional Race-Tex leather-free material, keeping to Porsche’s commitment to sustainability. There is a 10.9-inch central infotainment display and a secondary 8.4-inch touchscreen in the center console, so you don’t have to navigate through an endless maze of menus to find the setting you want. But most importantly, this is a Porsche, and the Taycan Cross Turismo is offered with up to 938 horsepower, for a truly amazing experience.
What The Critics Say
"Based on its sibling's impressiveness and our experience with a prototype Cross Turismo Turbo S, the Taycan wagon will have blistering-fast acceleration and the driving behavior of a sports car. Of course, the Taycan's notable 800-volt architecture and fast-charging capabilities also apply here. Its cabin mirrors the high-class and high-tech space inside its sedan counterpart, but the wagon provides additional passenger room and increased cargo space." — Car and Driver
"The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo wagon is here, and even though it's pretty much exactly what we expected, it isn't any less cool. Previewed by 2018's concept car and lots of recent teasers, the Cross Turismo has a fabulous wagon roofline with a hatchback rear, added practicality and more ground clearance for that all-important crossover vibe while still retaining the Taycan's superb goodness." — Roadshow by CNET
What’s New for 2025
A wide range of eye-catching updates have been made to the electrified Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo for the 2025 model year. Exterior changes are highlighted by new alloy wheel options, new exterior colors, fresh LED exterior lighting, and an updated front fascia. Made possible by an improved battery pack with a larger capacity, the Taycan Cross Turismo now delivers enhanced performance and a longer total driving range. Examples of premium amenities now included as standard across the entire model range are a heated steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging tray, push-to-pass function, an adaptive air suspension, and more.
Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Features
Unique Styling
It’s easy to spot the differences between the Cross Turismo and standard Taycan. In addition to the liftgate, there is a unique lower valence, side skirts, slatted rear diffuser, and wheel arch covers. It also sits 20mm higher off the ground than the standard model, for a further advantage on rough roads. The result is a mix of SUV and shooting brake that other carmakers have attempted, but never quite gotten right. It’s an alternative to the electric SUVs you’ve been seeing everywhere, highly stylish with zero compromises in practicality. The styling is at once recognizable as a Porsche, yet still unlike quite anything else we’ve seen before.
True Porsche Performance, Electrified
The Porsche Taycan is built for speed and handling like no other electric vehicle before it. The 105 kWh battery is paired with two permanent magnet synchronous motors and a two-speed transmission. A variety of trims are offered, and power output ranges from 429 horsepower up to 938 horsepower. This is all offered on the standard Taycan as well, but the Cross Turismo comes with a few extra abilities. The adaptive air suspension can be raised, and there is a “gravel” setting to give you an advantage on the kinds of surfaces most sports cars won’t be able to deal with. And when you’re grabbed by the need for adventure, the Taycan Cross Turismo comes with 3 years of free DC fast charging with Electrify America.
Luxurious Interior
In most respects, the Taycan Cross Turismo give you the same luxurious mix of high-end materials and cutting-edge technology that you’ll find in the standard Taycan. But the shooting brake body style also means that you’ll get an extra 3.62 inches of rear headroom, as well as another 1.4 cubic feet of cargo space in the back. For upholstery, the Taycan Cross Turismo comes with the option of Race-Tex, a leather-free material. But you also have the option of sustainably-sourced Olea Club Leather. There are 16 standard options to choose from here, but extended individualization options are available as well.
