About the Porsche 718 Cayman
Track-tested performance, a race-inspired interior, and iconic Porsche exterior design cues are just three of the most appealing attributes of the dynamic 718 Cayman. Truly an exhibition of unbridled passion, the 718 Cayman benefits from its signature mid-engine layout paired with rear-wheel drive for a remarkable combination of razor-sharp handling and agile acceleration. Drivers can choose between a pair of turbocharged 4-cylinder engines or naturally aspirated inline 6-cylinder – making the 718 Cayman the ultimate sports coupe for enthusiasts. Equal parts contemporary and timeless, its ergonomic interior is filled with premium amenities that support every action of the driver. Cutting-edge technology integrated into the cabin of the 718 Cayman helps you stay connected to both your drive and your social network. Whether you’re headed down a twisting mountain road or a wide-open stretch of the interstate – it’s hard to ignore the benchmark that the Porsche 718 Cayman has set for the rest of the sport coupe class.
What’s New for 2024
The biggest changes to the Porsche 718 Cayman come in the form of some trim level adjustments for 2024. First, the race-inspired 718 Cayman GT4 has been eliminated, leaving the 718 Cayman GT4 RS as the range-topping high-octane variant in the lineup. Similarly, last year’s 718 Cayman T has been discontinued and replaced with an all-new 718 Cayman Style Edition model. Style Edition models can be identified by their unique design cues found both inside and outside.
What the Critics Say
“The Porsche 718 Cayman is a joy on a twisty road, carving through corners with verve and powering on to the next one with good force, all while putting a smile on the driver’s face. The kinetic thrills truly are exhilarating, stirring, and satisfying.” — Kelley Blue Book
“The Porsche 718 Cayman is one of the best cars to drive, period. With its mid-engine RWD layout and the added rigidity of the hardtop body, few cars — if any — can match its balance, athleticism, poise, and engagement. The impressively quick steering only enhances the 718 Cayman’s razor-sharp reflexes.” — Autotrader
